About Open Language

Small groups, clear progress

Small-group language courses in Baku for adult beginners, continuing learners, and community groups.

Open Language focuses on practical language learning in small groups. Our classes are structured to give each participant time to speak, ask questions, and build confidence through guided practice.

We offer beginner, elementary, intermediate, intensive, and private group options. Before enrolment, we review your starting level and goals so the course format and timetable fit your needs.

Our story

How Open Language began

We built Open Language around a simple idea: learners progress better when lessons are structured, manageable, and active.

01

Founded for practical learning

Open Language was established in 2016 in Baku with a focus on classroom-based language courses. The centre was created to make group learning more personal and easier to follow.

02

Small groups with room to speak

Our term course format keeps the pace consistent with two lessons per week over ten weeks. That structure helps learners stay engaged while balancing study with work and family commitments.

03

A steady weekly rhythm

We also make placement an important first step. It helps us match learners to the right group and timetable before the course begins.

What we value

What defines our courses

Every course is shaped around participation, clarity, and a pace that works for real learners.

SG

Small-group focus

Small-group teaching gives every participant a chance to practise speaking, listen to others, and learn through guided peer interaction.

PL

Clear starting point

Placement screening helps align the course with your current level and practical goals, so the first lessons have a clear direction.

PR

Structured term courses

Our term-based format uses a fixed price per participant and a scheduled lesson plan that is easy to understand from the start.

GP

Guided practice

Guided practice keeps lessons active and inclusive, with a strong emphasis on speaking, pair work, and steady participation.
